Pipeline Optical Cable (GYTA)

  • Product description
  • YTA optical cable is designed for outdoor use. It encloses optical fibers in loose tubes filled with gel. The core of the cable contains steel wires (possibly with a PE cushion layer), surrounded by loose tubes and filler ropes. Gaps inside and outside the core are filled with gel, and the outer layer is longitudinally wrapped with aluminum-polyethylene sheath.

Number of optical fibers: 2 to 144 cores
Specific cable models include: GYTA-24B1.3, GYTA53-24B1.3, etc.

    Product Features:
Precise control of the excess length of optical fibers ensures excellent tensile strength and temperature characteristics of the cable.
The PBT loose tube material has good resistance to hydrolysis, and the tube is filled with special grease to protect the optical fibers.
The PE sheath has excellent resistance to solar radiation.
The smooth outer sheath reduces friction during installation.
Measures such as filling the loose tube with special waterproof compounds, complete core filling, and aluminum-plastic composite tape moisture barrier ensure the waterproof performance of the cable.
The aluminum tape does not have the same side pressure index as the steel tape, but it has better moisture resistance and rust prevention. GYTA has a longer lifespan when used in ducts.
Performance Specifications of GYTA Optical Cable:
    Meets standards: YD/T 901 and IEC 60794-1
Application: Outdoor optical cables for core networks, metropolitan area networks, and access networks
Installation methods: Pipeline, non-self-supporting aerial installation
    Operating temperature: -40°C to +70°C
Bending radius: Static 10 times the cable diameter, dynamic 20 times the cable diameter.
