YTA optical cable is designed for outdoor use. It encloses optical fibers in loose tubes filled with gel. The core of the cable contains steel wires (possibly with a PE cushion layer), surrounded by loose tubes and filler ropes. Gaps inside and outside the core are filled with gel, and the outer layer is longitudinally wrapped with aluminum-polyethylene sheath.

Measures such as filling the loose tube with special waterproof compounds, complete core filling, and aluminum-plastic composite tape moisture barrier ensure the waterproof performance of the cable.
The aluminum tape does not have the same side pressure index as the steel tape, but it has better moisture resistance and rust prevention. GYTA has a longer lifespan when used in ducts.
