Loose Tube Layer Stranded Light Armored Optical Cable (GYTS)

  • Product description
  • The GYTS optical cable structure involves embedding optical fibers into loose tubes made of high modulus materials, filled with waterproof compounds. The core of the cable consists of a central metal strength member, around which the loose tubes (and filler ropes) are twisted to form a compact and circular core. Gaps within the core are filled with water-blocking materials. After longitudinally wrapping with plastic-coated steel tape (PSP), the cable is extruded with a layer of polyethylene outer sheath to form the cable.
Number of optical fibers: 2 to 144 cores
Specific cable models include: GYTS-24B1.3, etc.

    Product Features:
    Effectively protects optical fibers.
The cable structure design is very compact.
It has excellent mechanical and temperature characteristics.
It has strong water resistance and moisture resistance.
The PE outer sheath has strong resistance to UV radiation and abrasion.
